Plane Jane Spoons

Jane Who? There is nothing plain about this jigging spoon's seductive lift off and planing action. It is another tool for extracting those hard to catch deep water fish when a rattle doesn't do the trick. The Plane Jane Spoon will produce on those hard to catch fish from summer heat through winter ice. Walleye, Perch, Largemouth, Smallmouth, Striper, White's and Hybred Bass, other game fish fall all over themselves to get a shot at the Plane Janes wounded baitfish action. This lure body's tail heavy design planes through the water with a seductive flutter and fall triggering the predatory instinct in all fish. TIP: A snap of the wrist and then, control the flutter back to the bottom on a semi taught line, and hold on, this is where the strikes occur. Perfect your finesse presentation of the right amount of lift for the fluttering drop and get ready for some get in their face action. Fish will hit it on the way down or as it settles to the bottom. Your next lift the fish will be there. Snap with authority as though you were setting the hook on the lift, and be prepared! I prefer to fish this bait on a 6'6" medium to medium heavy rod with a bait casting reel with a flipp'n switch, spooled with a premium 10 to 12 lb. monofilament line.
